Nice cold day to brew our "signature stout." So far, we haven't brewed a bad batch of stout, knock on wood. We didn't hit our 1.077-1.080 OG (original gravity) mark. We hit 1.061, which means it will probably finish around 6-7% assuming the fermentation goes well, which it did. The stout took 12 days from mash to glass! We added way too much water cooling the mash down in the beginning. Oh well! I'd rather have less gravity beer than burnt mash! There's a guest appearance here; my son DIII "Tre" future Sybel Institute of Tech graduate. Homemade recipe cost me $45 for a 5 gallon keg, normally sold in stores $10+ a six pack. We were cooking some hot dogs and it was perfect day out at 50 degrees in the Sunshine State. Rapper's Delight is for my homie "White Chocolate." Shout out!
